Guilt is not a verdict. It is an invitation to look more closely.

Her story

K'Breaun Sharpe, also known as Kabe, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) and the founder of Kabe's Korner Counseling Services in Houston, Texas.

With nearly a decade of clinical experience across federal Veterans Affairs systems, acute hospital care, and inpatient psychiatry, K'Breaun has spent her career working with people navigating some of the most complex transitions a life can hold. That breadth of experience — from the ICU to the VA and to private practice — has shaped both her clinical lens and her understanding of what it costs to keep carrying what you were never meant to hold.

She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, and has been clinical practice since 2017.

For those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength

K'Breaun's work is grounded in the belief that God does not waste our pain, and that the seasons that feel like undoing are often the ones doing the most necessary work. Her book, Lessons from Letting Go: Releasing Guilt to Walk in Purpose (2025), was written from inside that process. It is the foundation of the clinical curriculum and community programming she now offers to women who are ready to stop returning to what no longer fits.
